MYTH VS FACT!

Does weight training make women bulky?

It's a myth, by lifting weights you’re not going to turn into hulk. Why? Because the major hormone testosterone (which is mainly a male hormone) in gaining muscle mass is present in very small amount in women body. Women main hormone is estrogen which allow their body to store fat (this storage of fat helps in future pregnancy, lactation & keep their body warm), estrogen also helps in immunity, that's why women get less sick compare to men. Estrogen is one of the main reason women recovering faster and are less affected by Corona Virus Or Chinese Virus, same thing.

But, testosterone is also important for female body, mainly for libido and helps with the growth, maintenance, repair of women's reproductive tissues & bone mass. It helps in fat loss and for ripped muscles also.

Although some women have high testosterone in their body, signs are excess facial hair, deep voice, excess acne, irregular or absent menstrual periods, frontal balding etc. Which can be fixed through healthy diet, exercise and a balance lifestyle.

So, Weight Training make you healthy & help you look sexy & sharper. No doubt!

P.S. - No disrespect for female bodybuilders, it's their choice. They do a lot of hardwork. This blog is only for clearing the weight training myth.
